The other weekend I had the privilege of spending the day with this beautiful family and capturing this happy couple’s special day. It took place at an awesome private residence in Breckenridge, Colorado. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for some wedding photos.
I want to thank the Bride & Groom, their family, and the staff at the event for being so kind and a pleasure to work with. Below is a peek into the day and the hundreds of lovely photos this family gets to share forever! Please contact me for details on working together.
On a photo walk the other day, I was greeted with this beautiful image. Lucky thing too because the clouds and wind quickly rolled in cutting our walk short! It’s captures like this that remind me of the beautiful outdoors around me. It’s easy to get normalized to your surroundings, so you have to make a point to hit that reset button every once in awhile.
Being still new to the area, I am always on the lookout for a new pretty spot to shoot some photos. I just happened to see someone mention this trail on Social Media and decided to pack up and go check it out. I was not disappointed! This is a close, yet secluded open space with some great trails and beautiful scenery. I was on my bike this time and found myself pulling over every, seemingly, 10 ft for a new beautiful scene. Below are a few from that day that start to capture the scene.
And for a different perspective, here are several from my phone, the LG G6:
This little guy below is one cool dude! There were a ton of great photos with him but sharing just a few. Babies and toddlers are such a joy to work with because their little personalities and purity just shine through so naturally.

What better way to start the new year than with a really cute baby, right? This little guy below is all smiles and I loved capturing those happy grins.
Funny thing, during the shoot, he didn’t seem too concerned with the election, taxes, how much money he makes, or how good-looking he is (although, let’s be honest, he doesn’t have to worry here). Babies have a purity about them that is magical. Where else do we find such true innocence? He is cute to look at, but there is a lesson in that smile too. Here’s to not crying over spilled milk. Thanks little dude.
I recently had the opportunity to work with about 20 members of the Owens family. What a fun group of people! We found a great spot with an awesome barn and other old structures. Working with this many people at once can be challenging, but the family was super easy-going and made it a pleasure.
Below are a few of my faves, but there are many! Thanks again to the families!
It’s been a while since I posted, miss me? Moving to a new state and starting a new job, turns out, is pretty time-consuming. Who would’ve thought? I have had to put my photography on a bit of a back-burner, but I hope to get things going again here soon! I was out in the Rockies this last weekend and it was amazing.
The shot below is a small step in the right direction. I hope to better hone my landscape skills out here with such ample subjects!
Coming from the deserts and beaches of California, we aren’t too familiar with snow….fast forward to us living in Colorado and that is quickly changing! We find ourselves going outside in heavy snow to just wander around and be in it, which is fun! Totally new life experiences for us that I am glad we will be able to look back on.
